LEFÖ is an organization by and for migrant women*. Since 1985, we have been advocating equality, opportunities for participation and improvement of the living conditions of migrant women* in Austria.

Our work follows a feminist, anti-racist, and power-critical guiding principle, and therefore, we take a clear stance against any form of discrimination and violence.

We raise awareness about societal injustices and view the critical reflection of these issues as an ongoing process, even within LEFÖ. We stand for unity, collective strength, and solidarity.

We offer counseling, education, guidance, and support to migrant women* and amplify their voices in political discourse. We consider the constant adaptation and further development of our services in order to meet needs of our clients is an essential part of our work.

Our goal is to empower women* in the migration process and support them in advocating for their rights. We view our clients* as experts* of their own lives, acting autonomously.
