William Dean is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in law, business, and military service. Currently, William serves as the CEO of Vergence, LLC, a cybersecurity and AI firm, and as the owner of Ohana Law Firm, LLLC. William also held the position of Commissioner for the Hawaii Elections Commission from June 2020 to December 2022. Previous roles include legal software architect at Incensus, Judge Advocate and Assistant Staff Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, where William managed legal inquiries and provided litigation support. Additionally, William founded BioSoft Energy, Inc., securing $2 million in financing. William's military service includes managing a $35M budget and conducting cost analysis for weapons systems. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from the United States Air Force Academy, a Juris Doctor from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, a Master of Laws in International Law from The George Washington University, a Master’s Degree in Finance from Boston College, and an Executive Education in Business Administration from UCLA.
