Izzy Cannell

Izzy Cannell, FMP has a diverse work experience starting from 2013 as a City Planning Intern for the City of Ketchum. Izzy then worked as a Smart Growth Intern for the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, where they assisted with research and data collection. From 2014 to 2017, they served as an Associate Planner for BERK Consulting, working on land use, environmental, and fiscal planning projects.

In 2017, Izzy joined Framework Cultural Placemaking as a Planner, utilizing their expertise in land use planning, public outreach, and housing policy to achieve client solutions. Izzy then transitioned to JLL in 2018 as a Senior Research Analyst, where they tracked and analyzed the Puget Sound Industrial markets.

In 2019, Izzy held the positions of Vice President of Workplace Intelligence at Cresa Consulting Group and Director of Workplace Intelligence at Avison Young. In these roles, they focused on implementing real estate and operations solutions through quantitative evaluation and data analytics, working closely with clients to understand their business needs.

Izzy'smost recent position, starting in 2023, is as the Workplace Insights Lead at VergeSense. In this role, Izzy co-leads the Strategic Advisory Service offering, supporting customers in implementing sensor technology into their data strategy and decision-making processes. Izzy also leads and supports internal initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Throughout their career, Izzy has showcased their expertise in strategic planning, data analysis, and workplace intelligence, making their a valuable asset to any organization.

Izzy Cannell, FMP, holds a B.A. degree in Environmental Studies with a Government Concentration and a minor in Economics from Hamilton College. They also have a Master of City Planning (MCP) degree in Urban Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Izzy has obtained certifications as a Facility Management Professional (FMP®) from IFMA in 2023 and as a LEED Green Associate from USGBC in 2014. They also attended Phillips Academy Andover, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
