Matt Nickerson

Matt Nickerson is a seasoned professional with a rich background in software engineering and physical therapy. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer II/Data Infrastructure Engineer II at Vericast since August 2022, Matt is involved in building a data lakehouse for scalable analytics and developing innovative client-facing data strategies using advanced technologies such as Dremio and Snowflake. Prior experience includes roles as a Systems/Full Stack Engineer at BurnAlong and various physical therapy positions, where Matt managed patient care across multiple settings. Matt holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medicine Program from the University of Virginia, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration from William & Mary.
