Jon Stephens is a PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin and serves as the CEO and co-founder of Veridise, where their work centers on developing automated techniques to verify and identify bugs in the blockchain ecosystem. Jon previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Veridise before advancing to CEO. Their earlier experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at both the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Arizona, as well as a Student Programmer for the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE), where they contributed to programming tools for space imaging. Jon earned a Master of Science in Computer Science and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona.
