Rainer Witzgall

Rainer Witzgall has a long history of work experience in the IT security and software development industries. Rainer began their career in 1994 as a Sales Manager for IBM (Rational Software). In 2000, they took on the role of Director Sales & Marketing Central Europe for ACTANO GmbH. In 2003, they moved to DPT - think3 as Director Sales Central Europe. In 2006, they became Executive VP Sales & Marketing for Avira. In 2010, they took on the role of VP Sales & Marketing for DriveLock SE. In 2012, they held the role of VP Sales EMEA for OpSec Security, as well as Managing Director for adyton Cybersecurity. In 2018, they became Managing Director for Karamba Security. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and VP DACH for Veridium, a leader in phishing resistant MFA and passwordless authentication.

Rainer Witzgall obtained an Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences between 1982 and 1987. Rainer also holds certifications from Holtman Communication (Process Communication Model (PCM), obtained in January 2020), Crestcom (The Bulletproof Manager, obtained in October 2011), St. Gallen Business School (Executive Management, obtained in April 2009), and Huthwaite (Huthwaite SPIN / BCRC certified Salestrainer, obtained in March 1999).
