Henri Rästas

Henri Rästas has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Co-Founder at WhipCat from November 2015 to April 2016. Henri then worked as a Student Research Assistant at Tallinn University of Technology from December 2013 to September 2016. Following this, Henri joined ETH Zurich as a Student Research Assistant from September 2016 to February 2018. In 2019, they transitioned into the field of Data Science, first as a Data Scientist at Veriff from January 2019 to September 2019. Henri then took on the position of Senior Data Scientist at Veriff from September 2019 to April 2020. Henri further advanced within the organization, becoming the Extraction Team Lead at Veriff from April 2020 to April 2021. Currently, Henri Rästas holds the position of Head of Data Science at Veriff since April 2021.

Henri Rästas has a Master's Degree in Computational Science and Engineering from ETH Zürich, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Physics at the University of Tartu from 2012 to 2015. Henri also attended Tallinn Secondary Science School from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained their High School degree in Technology. In 2014 to 2015, they briefly studied Oceanography, Chemical and Physical at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
