Viljar B has extensive experience in information security, currently serving as Deputy CISO, Information Security Team Lead, and Information Security Advisor at Veriff since April 2019, where responsibilities include building cybersecurity frameworks for a startup. Prior to this role, Viljar held the position of Information Security Expert at Bigbank from January 2018 to March 2019, focusing on internal security education, penetration testing, and incident resolution. Between April 2013 and August 2016, work at Telia involved penetration testing and developing security policies. Earlier experience includes serving as a Security Expert at the Ministry of Defence of Estonia, safeguarding NATO information technology and physical security, and working as an Information Technology and signal specialist in the Estonian Defense Forces, which included participation in operations in Iraq.
