Per Åström

Per Åström has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. per is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Verified since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Creator and developer of Swim Pacer, an app for Garmin watches, between 2020 and 2022. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Open Banking Manager at Swedbank. Per Åström co-founded Rayvr in 2016 and worked as the Co-founder & CPO until 2018, where they focused on developing virtual reality experiences and training. per held several positions at TV4-Gruppen, including Head of Innovation, Head of app & web tech, and Technical Manager New Platforms between 2009 and 2016. Before that, they worked as the Founder and developer of Surdegskartan, and as a Project Manager and business developer at Svenska Dagbladet. per also held the position of CTO at Svenska Dagbladet Digitala Medier AB and participated in the making of Schibsted ASA's technology strategy. At the start of their career, Per Åström worked as a CTO and Software Engineer at Aftonbladet Nya Medier.

Per Åström received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Grafisk teknik och digital medieproduktion from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in the years 1993 to 1999. per also pursued Prepress/Desktop Publishing and Digital Imaging Design at Bergische Universität Wuppertal in 1998 and 1999. Additionally, Per has obtained certifications such as Azure Administration Essential Training from LinkedIn in 2021, Master the Fundamentals of AI and Machine Learning from LinkedIn in 2020, and a Google Street View certificate from Google, although the year of attainment is not provided.
