Gavin Howard

Gavin Howard is an accomplished professional in the engineering and product development sectors with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Since October 2003, Gavin has held the position of Senior Director of Engineering for Europe at VeriFone, while also serving as the Head of Product Development in the UK. Prior to this role, Gavin worked at Dione from 2004 to 2008 in various development capacities and served as General Manager of Hardware Development at Secure Electrans from 1999 to 2003. Earlier positions include Product Manager at Plessey from 1996 to 1999, and Development Manager and Development Engineer at Plessey SA from 1989 to 1996. Gavin holds an NHD in Electrical Engineering from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, obtained between 1982 and 1986.
