Dave Wright is a highly experienced UX leader with a career spanning over two decades in the design and technology sectors. Currently serving as Staff UX Lead at Verily since March 2016, Wright has significantly contributed to user-centered approaches, achieving a 34% increase in adoption through a proprietary trust framework and enhancing retention for clinical trials. Previously, Wright worked at Google, where impactful leadership on projects like Google Data Studio and Google Web Designer helped drive substantial user engagement. Earlier experience includes founding the digital agency Stormlab, where over 200 early-stage companies benefitted from innovative branding and app development. Wright's diverse background also encompasses roles in adventure guiding, art direction, and advertising, supported by a Master’s degree in Literature from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Kent.
