Amedeo D'Angelo

Amedeo D'Angelo is Chairman and CEO of Verimatrix and serves on the supervisory board of Verifone; they are also a board member at Lutech, chairman of the board at Linxens and president and CEO of INSIDE Secure. They previously held executive roles including CEO Italy and European Director at Samsung (1986–1991), President of Gemalto (1991–1994), CEO and Chairman of Incard (1994–1997), Chief Operating Officer of Oberthur Technologies (1997–2002), CEO of Ingenico Group (2005–2007) and Vice President at Samsung Electronics (2008–2010). They earned a bachelor's degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano (1972–1976) after attending Elk River High School, Minnesota (1970–1971).
