Luis Rivera

Luis Rivera is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience dating back to 1991. Currently at Verimatrix since July 2005, Luis Rivera has held multiple roles including Software Engineer and Sr. Software Engineer/Architect. Prior to this, Luis Rivera was a PhD student at UIUC and UCSD from February 1999 to June 2005, and served as a Research Assistant at UIUC from January 1998 to January 1999. Earlier roles include Visualization Network Administrator at DGSCA UNAM and VAX/VMS System Administrator at CECAFI, UNAM. Luis Rivera holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
