Ram Uppala is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity with extensive experience in developing security strategies and architectures for various organizations. Since July 2015, Ram has served as the Director of Security at Verimatrix, focusing on on-prem and cloud security, secure software development life cycles, and cryptography. Previous roles include Senior Information Security Manager at Scope International Standard Chartered Bank, Security Architect at Barclays, and R&D Engineer at Motorola, where Ram was involved in security product development and compliance. Ram's career began at Odyssey Technologies, specializing in public key infrastructure (PKI) development, and includes significant contributions to security solutions at McAfee and Wipro Technologies. Ram holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Madras and a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University.
