VeriMe Cooperative provides researchers a secure digital identity that enables verified access to research systems without exposing personal data.  

Researchers can connect to reputational services; and VeriMe Members can manage the sharing of their verified digital identity, exchange credits earned for  research service activities, and participate in VeriMe governance. 

VeriMe services can be directly integrated into workflows for research data, publications, facilities, funding, resources, and more. It eliminates the need for research systems to collect and store sensitive personal information (PII) while also providing assurance that system access is limited to identity-verified users.
