Alex Shipley is the SVP Global Privacy, General Counsel, and VP Legal EMEA at Verint Systems, where they provide legal, data privacy, and compliance support across the EMEA regions and globally. Admitted as a solicitor in 1998, Alex has extensive experience in Data Privacy, Intellectual Property, Commercial Law, and more, with a decade of pre-legal experience in the IT sector. They have been with Verint since 2011, advising on compliance, market entry, and dispute resolution matters. Alex holds a BA Hons in Business Studies and several legal credentials, including a Post Graduate Diploma in Law and a Legal Practice Course from Nottingham Law School, and is currently pursuing a vocational degree in Artificial Intelligence from Oxford.
