John Vastano

John Vastano is an accomplished data scientist with extensive leadership experience in various technology companies. Currently serving as Chief Data Scientist at Veriphyr since May 2014, Vastano has previously held senior roles such as VP of Worldwide Customer Services and Support at ScaleArc and Sr. Director of Customer Engineering and Technical Operations at Ankeena Networks. Additional experience includes positions at Aerohive Networks, Autonomic Networks, Jasper Wireless, and NetScaler, where Vastano contributed significantly to technical operations and customer engineering. Vastano's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Physics with a focus on nonlinear dynamics from The University of Texas at Austin and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in turbulence research at Stanford University/NASA Ames Research Center.
