David Cox

David Cox has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology. David is currently working as the Senior Director of InfoSec Engineering and Operations at VERISIGN since 2024. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Security Services Business Operations at Arctic Wolf from 2022 to 2024. Before that, they worked as a Principal Solutions Architect at TalonX from 2020 to 2022. David also has experience at EY, where they worked as a Manager of Cyber Threat Management from 2018 to 2020 and as a Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they had a career in the United States Air Force, serving in various roles as a Cyberspace Operations Officer and a Deployable Communications Engineer from 2007 to 2016. David's early work experience includes being an Information Technology Specialist at Abundance Wealth Counselors, LLC from 2004 to 2007.

David Cox attended The Pennsylvania State University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science and Technology. David then pursued a Master's Degree in Information Technology Management from Trident University International, completing it from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degrees, David obtained several certifications, including GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator, GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst, GIAC Advisory Board, and GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
