David Smith

David Smith is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software development and architecture. Currently serving as Principal/Architect/Lead Developer at Verisign since November 2004, David specializes in COM/NET registry and related projects utilizing Java and Groovy, as well as other TLD registries with Java and Ansible. Prior to Verisign, David held the position of Lead Developer at Netsec from August 2003 to November 2004 and at Artesia Technologies from 1999 to 2003. David earned a degree from Duke University from 1987 to 1991 and furthered education at The University of Edinburgh from 1989 to 1990.
