Florent Guiliani has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Florent is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Verisign, where they lead the ATLAS team and delivers DNS servers for the dot COM Top Level Domain. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Software Engineering at Input Output (IOHK), where they managed various software engineering teams and projects including Cardano and Atala Prism. Before joining IOHK, Florent worked at Verisign for several years in various roles, including Software Engineering Director, Team Manager for network service software engineering, Team Manager for CI/CD, and Team Manager for WHOIS software engineering. Florent played key roles in introducing CI/CD at Verisign and developing critical internet infrastructure software using C++. Florent also gained experience at Four J's Development Tools and Gestour, where they worked as a Software Engineer (C++) and contributed to web framework and specialized ERP framework development, respectively. Early in their career, they worked as an Analysis Programmer at Episoft.
Florent Guiliani attended Institut universitaire de technologie Belfort-Montbéliard from 1997 to 1999, studying Computer Science. Florent also obtained certifications in "Coderust: Hacking the Coding Interview" and "Grokking the System Design Interview" from Educative, Inc. in 2021.
