Hal Jackson

Hal Jackson is a highly experienced technology professional with a strong background in systems architecture, engineering, and network security. Currently serving as Principal Architect and Senior Engineer at Verisign since November 2012, Hal focuses on Linux kernel tuning and development for the company's DDoS mitigation platform, while also overseeing the architecture of public Internet infrastructure, including DNS servers for major top-level domains. Prior experience includes a decade at Fannie Mae as Principal Engineer, where responsibilities included security infrastructure engineering, ArcSight administration, and significant expertise in DNS and networking with Check Point Firewalls.
