Heidi Austin

Heidi Austin has a strong background in IT service delivery, technology asset management, and program management. Heidi started their career in 1992 as a QA Tester at R&D Systems and then worked as a Test Engineer at NetExpress, MCI Corporation, and BTNA/Concert. In 2000, they joined Cisco Systems as a Software Development and Testing Manager. From 2006 to 2014, they served as a QA Senior Manager at Verisign. Heidi then held roles such as Director of Corporate Programs and Director of IT Service Delivery at Verisign. Their most recent role at Verisign, starting in 2018, was as the Senior Director of IT Service Delivery and Technology Asset Management. Heidi has extensive experience in overseeing IT portfolios, managing enterprise programs, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance.

Heidi Austin has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information System Technology from George Washington University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. Heidi also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland (European Division), which they completed from 1988 to 1990. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including ITIL Foundation Level, Certified Scrum Master, Software Testing (ISTQB), Security+ (CompTIA), Managing Projects & Priorities (Rockhurst University), and CCNA (Cisco Systems).
