Joe Hansen

Joe Hansen has extensive experience in digital communications and branding. Joe has held various leadership positions in renowned organizations such as VERISIGN, Novavax, Biotechnology Innovation Organization, National Cattlemen's Beef Association, American Red Cross, Profile Marketing & Public Relations, Parsons Brinckerhoff in the USA, Rhode Island Department of Transportation, and Duffy & Shanley. Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated expertise in strategic communications, global digital communications and engagement, managing digital communications and branding, and directing issues response. Joe'swork experience spans from 2004 to the present, with their most recent role being the Digital Communications Lead/Sr. Director of Strategic Communications at VERISIGN since 2023.

Joe Hansen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Communication from Bryant University, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. Joe later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Crisis and Emergency Management from Florida Atlantic University, attending from 2007 to 2008.
