Matt Thomas is a distinguished engineer specializing in Cyber Security Applied Research at Verisign, where responsibilities include leading strategic initiatives to enhance global DNS security and addressing threats. As a member of the Security and Stability Advisory Committee at ICANN, Matt advises on the integrity of the Internet's naming and addressing systems. Additionally, as a board member of the Messaging, Malware, and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group, Matt focuses on tackling operational issues related to Internet abuse. Previous experience includes a principal engineer role at AT&T - USi, where Matt designed monitoring and data collection solutions, and positions as a software engineer and web application developer early in his career.
