Michael Cypcar

Michael Cypcar is an experienced Senior Systems Engineer at Verisign since January 2006, specializing in storage systems engineering with a focus on EMC DMX, EMC CLARiiON, and Netapp Filers, managing a total of 2 Petabytes for Verisign’s Communication Systems and Global Registry. Prior to Verisign, Cypcar held positions as a Storage Architect at SAVVIS, where responsibilities included supporting EMC CLARiiON and EMC Celerra devices for the General Services Administration, and as a Storage Consultant at Novus Consulting Group, specializing in enterprise midrange storage services and disaster recovery. Cypcar gained foundational skills as a Systems Administrator at Exodus Communications, providing support on Solaris and Windows, and previously at Mobil Oil. Cypcar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
