Prashant Sawant

Prashant Sawant has a strong background in technical operations and management. Prashant began their career at AOL in 1997, where they worked as a Senior Sybase DBA before transitioning to a Senior Manager role in 1999. In 2006, Prashant joined Verisign as a Senior Manager and subsequently held positions as Technical Director and Senior Technical Director. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Technical Operations at Verisign, leading a team of approximately 140 engineers responsible for data center and private cloud infrastructure services. Prashant'sresponsibilities include managing DevOps teams, DBAs, system administrators, storage engineers, network engineers, and a 24x7 Network Operations Center. Prashant also ensures compliance with information security and CIS standards, as well as meeting audit deliverables for production applications.

Prashant Sawant holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Ohio University.
