Robert Wilson

Robert Wilson has extensive work experience in the legal field, specializing in corporate law and contract management. Robert currently serves as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Verisign, where they oversee the review, drafting, and negotiation of procurement transactions. In addition, they are actively involved in Verisign's Privacy Committee, advising on privacy laws and regulations.

Prior to their current role, Wilson worked as a Senior Director and Senior Corporate Counsel at Verisign, where they provided legal support for the company's global operations and products. Robert also held the position of Director and Senior Corporate Counsel at Verisign, where they were responsible for reviewing and negotiating procurement transactions.

Before joining Verisign, Wilson held various legal positions at Oracle, Eloqua, AOL, and VeriSign, Inc. At Oracle, Wilson served as Managing Counsel and was a member of the North American Legal Team. Robert joined Oracle through the acquisition of Eloqua, where they worked as an Assistant General Counsel, providing comprehensive legal services to sales organizations.

Wilson also gained experience in the education sector as an Adjunct Faculty member at Georgetown University, where they taught from 2008 to 2013.

Earlier in their career, Wilson held roles in contract management and administration at Winstar Wireless, Litton Enterprise Solutions, and Electronic Data Systems, where they provided support in contract management, business analysis, and administration.

Robert Wilson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from William & Mary in 1993. Robert then pursued a law degree and graduated with a JD from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Norfolk Academy between 1976 and 1989.
