Gerald Hanks is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in technical operations and infrastructure engineering. Currently serving as the AVP of Technical Operations at Verisk since October 2015, Gerald has previously held roles such as Director of Technical Operations and Manager of Network/OS Operations within the same company. Gerald is also the owner of Neuron Academy, LLC, which focuses on providing IT support to a diverse clientele. Prior to Verisk, Gerald worked as a VP, eCommerce Infrastructure Engineer at Royal Bank of Scotland, managing global banking and trading hardware. Additional experience includes serving as a Principal Application Systems Engineer for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and as Director of Technology at Speaking Roses International, Inc. Gerald holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University–Hawaii, completed in 2012.
