James Devine

James Devine currently serves as the Chief Procurement Officer at Verisk, a position held since September 2018, where responsibility includes leading and developing the strategic procurement function, resulting in significant improvement in the Net Promotor Score within the Finance Function. Prior to Verisk, James held various roles at Wood Mackenzie from 2009 to 2018, including Director of Vendor Management and Director of Technology Vendor Management, where James expanded vendor management across the organization and established key functions for the technology department. Earlier career experience includes positions as Information Manager at McClure Naismith and Knowledge Manager at Eversheds. James holds a Master of Library & Information Science from University College Dublin and a BA (Hons) in Modern History and Sociology from the University of Strathclyde.
