Nick Guy is an accomplished atmospheric scientist with extensive experience in research and project management. Currently serving as Science Director at Verisk since May 2018, Nick has held various roles including Research Scientist and Science Manager. Prior to Verisk, Nick was a Research Meteorologist at The Climate Corporation, focusing on weather radar applications and leading a project on quantitative precipitation estimation. Nick's prior positions include Associate Research Scientist at the University of Wyoming, where responsibilities included managing the Wyoming King Air Research Aircraft, and Postdoctoral Research roles at the University of Miami and the Cooperative Institute of Mesoscale Meteorological Studies, emphasizing airborne radar data and dual-polarization radar evaluations. Nick holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences from Colorado State University, a Master's degree in Meteorology from San José State University, and a BA in Physics from Earlham College.
