Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles at Verisk and Xactware Solutions Inc. As Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Technology at Verisk since April 2015, Ryan Smith oversees all technical aspects of development and operations, focusing on architecting improved solutions in both on-prem and cloud environments while implementing agile practices and maintaining compliance and security standards. Prior to Verisk, Ryan Smith held multiple senior leadership positions at Xactware from 2003 to 2015, including Senior VP of DevOps and Senior VP of Engineering, where responsibilities involved oversight of development and operations teams. Ryan Smith holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Utah State University.
