Vanessa Wu

Vanessa Wu, ACAS, is a multi-disciplinary actuary and designer, holding a Master of Architecture from Harvard GSD and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Smith College. They began their career as a data scientist specializing in insurance at Verisk, where they developed expertise in corporate collaboration and data visualization. Vanessa transitioned into architecture, enhancing their communication and design skills through roles at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, including research, technical, and teaching assistant positions. Currently, they are the founder of Casa Vanessa and are seeking roles that combine data analysis and design thinking in the insurTech sector.
