Ben Leadbetter

Ben Leadbetter is an experienced legal professional in intellectual property, currently serving as Group IP Director at Verisure since November 2017. Prior roles include IP Counsel at Bobst and positions as an IP Consultant at WIPO, contributing to the Section for the Coordination of Developed Countries. Ben's extensive background in intellectual property also includes roles at Eaton Corporation, HP, and RGC Jenkins & Co, culminating in foundational training as a Patent Attorney Trainee at the UK Ministry of Defence. Academic credentials include a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London, and a focus on intellectual property law at De Montfort University. Ben achieved Associate membership of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers through a structured training program.
