Dean B.

Dean B. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design. Dean started their career as a Design Intern at Dell Computer Inc. in 1996. After that, they worked at IDEO Product Development as a Design Intern in 1997. In 1999, they joined Philips Design as a Junior Product Designer and later became a Senior Product Designer responsible for leading various projects.

In 2004, Dean B. joined KEiD London as a Senior Designer, where they focused on product design and project management and brought their expertise in designing for specific markets and consumer segments. In 2005, they moved to Samsung Design Europe, where they initially worked as a Senior Designer and Project Manager, expanding the studio's core disciplines. Dean later became a Strategic Design Manager, leading a team responsible for exploring new product and service opportunities.

In 2012, Dean B. joined Samsung Design Europe as a Strategic Director, setting high-level design strategies and managing the Research and Innovation team. Dean was also involved in design research, insight generation, and identifying new innovation opportunities for the business. In 2015, they joined Honeywell as the Global Director ECC, HUE Design Studio until 2018. Currently, Dean B. is working as the Global Design Director at Verisure, a position they have held since 2018.

Dean B. obtained a degree in Industrial Design(FE NDD) from West Notts College of F.E. Dean further pursued their education at Northumbria University where they attained a Design degree (DFI) in 1998.
