David Olson

David Olson has accumulated a diverse range of work experience over their career. Starting in 1984, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at General Dynamics before moving on to E-Systems in 1988 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they focused on aerospace sensors. In 1992, they became a Sales Manager at Mallett Technology, selling CAD/CAM/CAE systems to government and industrial accounts. From 1997 to 2000, they served as the Marketing Director at Structural Research and Analysis Corporation, where they oversaw strategic and tactical marketing efforts for design analysis software. Following this, they worked as a Sales Manager at Solidscape, Inc. from 2000 to 2002, selling high-precision Rapid Prototyping machines. David then joined Roland DGA as the National Sales Manager, leading the development of new business around mass customization and personalization solutions. In 2009, they became the Director of Sales & Marketing at Verisurf Software, Inc. Throughout their career, Olson has demonstrated a strong focus on sales, marketing, and business development.

David Olson attended San Marcos High School, although the specific dates of their enrollment are unknown. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Virtual and Physical Simulation at San Diego State University. David started their studies in 1978 and completed their degree in 1983. Later on, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Technology Marketing from The George Washington University between 1992 and 1994.
