Nick Merrell

Nick Merrell has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing industry. Nick started their career at Tri-Tech Precision in 2004 as a Machinist and Quality Control (QC) personnel. Nick then joined Apex Design in 2006 as a QC employee. In 2007, they moved to Votaw Precision Technologies as a Quality Assurance (QA), CMM Inspection, and Digital Product Definition Manager. Nick excelled in roles such as Quality Control Supervisor, CMM Programmer, Portable CMM, Laser Tracker & Digital Product Definition Specialist. During their time at Votaw Precision Technologies, they gained expertise in interpreting ASME Y14.5, Model Based Definition, Design and Specification Interpretation, CMM Programming, Portable CMM and Laser Tracker Inspection, as well as Jig and Fixture Building using Verisurf 9. In 2016, they joined Verisurf Software, Inc. as a Technical Operations Manager and eventually became the Executive Vice President in January 2022.
