Steve Bertrand

Steve Bertrand has extensive work experience in the manufacturing and software industry. Steve has worked in various roles, starting in 1979 as a Design-Machine and Tool Designer at Stanadyne Diesel Systems. Steve then worked as a Tool Design & Manufacturing Engineer at Hamilton Standard from 1983 to 1986. From 1986 to 1988, they served as an Applications Engineer at Cimatron. From 1988 to 1990, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Electro-Methods.

In 1990, they joined Rand Technologies as a Regional Applications Engineer, and in 1992, they became a Product Manager - CADKEY NC at Cadkey Inc. At Cimatron Technologies, they worked as a Regional Sales/Applications Engineer from 1996 to 1998.

Steve's career in the software industry began in 1998 at CNC Software, Inc., where they held various roles including VAR/Sales Manager, Manager Corporate Sales, Sales Director - Channel Development and Strategic Partnerships, and LATAM Region Channel/Business Manager. Steve was responsible for sales and marketing activities in the LATAM territory, including localization for Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese for the Mastercam product. Steve also created policies and strategic initiatives to broaden the market and increase sales, managed channel development, and coordinated events.

In 2021, Steve moved to NCSIMUL - Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence as a National Account Manager - North & Central America. Steve managed sales activities for the NCSIMUL product, including both direct and indirect sales.

Currently, Steve is working as a Mastercam Reseller Channel Development Manager at Verisurf Software, Inc. Starting in January 2023, they are responsible for developing the Mastercam reseller channel.

Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated expertise in sales, channel management, market development, and sales skills training. Steve has consistently achieved or surpassed sales targets and has played a role in the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Steve Bertrand attended Central Connecticut State University, although it is unknown when they started or finished their studies. Steve did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during their time at the university. In December 2020, they obtained a certification in "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn.
