James W.

James W. has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. James started their career in 1994 as an Account Manager at StamiNet, Inc., where they focused on consultative selling of computer hardware, software, and services. James later served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Sherwood Network Division/Sherwood America, responsible for sales and marketing efforts in the text-terminal and thin-client markets.

In 2000, James became a Regional Sales Manager at Neoware, managing sales efforts for the Northwest North America geographic market. James conducted thin client demonstrations and provided technical support during testing and deployment phases.

James joined The Salvation Army in 2004 as a Systems Administrator, being responsible for Windows Servers, Active Directory, Lotus Domino/Notes R6 farm, and assisting field technicians with end-user support.

From 2004 to 2005, James worked at Afinety, Inc. as an IT Consultant and Sales Engineer, providing technical consultation, resolving field support issues, and designing systems and networks for prospective customers.

James then worked at Calvary Chapel Southbay as an IT Administrator from 2005 to 2011.

James joined LiveOffice in 2011 as a Systems Engineer, responsible for pre-sales technical aspects of the Cloud Archive solution and supporting sales activities.

In 2012, they joined Symantec as a Senior Systems Engineer, specializing in cloud-archiving and e-Discovery services.

Since 2015, James has been working at Veritas Technologies LLC. James has held various positions, including Senior Systems Engineer, Information Governance Strategist, and Chief Architect, specializing in risk mitigation, digital compliance, and privacy. James is currently serving as a Principal Product Manager, Global Digital Compliance Architect, Data Governance & Privacy Strategist, responsible for understanding customer needs and promoting Veritas' solutions in archiving, compliance, supervision, eDiscovery, data capture, and data migration.

James W. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 1998.
