John Murphy

John Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John started as a Network Specialist at ComputerLand and progressed to become a Service Technician responsible for repairing computers and printers and maintaining local area networks. John then worked as a Consultant at Qumak, where they provided insights on US companies to a Polish personal computer distributor. John then joined Tandem Computers as a Financial Analyst in Sales Financial Planning and Analysis. John later joined Cisco Systems, where they held various roles such as Director of Enterprise Reporting and Business Intelligence, Leader of the Enterprise Data Solutions Group, and Senior Director of Corporate Marketing Finance. John was then promoted to Senior Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, overseeing P&L forecasting and expense target setting. John later joined Avaya as VP of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis before their current role as VP of Corporate FP&A and Treasury at Veritas Technologies LLC.

John Murphy obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Anthropology from the University of Florida from 1984 to 1988. John later pursued a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, completing their studies from 1992 to 1994.
