Ashim Karki

Ashim Karki has worked in various roles since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Sales Staff at Zen Nepal Tours and Travels (P) ltd, where they interacted with passengers via phone, email and in person to find the cheapest plane ticket fare they desired, reserved seats using internal software (coding) including name, price, date, time, and itinerary, and provided clients with utmost respect and hospitality that helped build trust and customer loyalty. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Managers Assistant at Westminster College (MO), where they created a warm and friendly environment for international as well as domestic students who visited the building, stocked food and snacks in the pantry, and fridge so the students (who couldn’t afford to get extra food beside college meals) could pick it up. In 2019, they also worked as a Marketing And Management Intern at Westminster College (MO), where they learnt digital marketing, marketing, writing, designing and other web-based technology through marketing professionals, managed data entry for the ‘student power wall’, identified, and interviewed leaders (students), covered events through social media, and planned events that improved marketing. From 2020 to present, they have been working as a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist at Veritis Group Inc. Additionally, from 2020 to present, they have also worked as a Client Management at Fulton State Hospital, where they supervised clients with mental disability and personality disorder with anything that they needed, recorded behavioral data in computer to analyze client’s weekly progress, and gained client’s trust and helped them maintain discipline that resulted in safer environment in the ward for everyone including the staff.

Ashim Karki is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Information Technology and Management at Dallas Baptist University, which they began in 2021. Prior to this, they attended Westminster College (MO) from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing and International Business. Ashim also holds a High School Diploma from Budanilkantha School, which they obtained in 2014. In addition, Ashim has obtained four certifications from IBM, including Enterprise Design Thinking - Team Essentials for AI (2022), IBM Data Science Practitioner - Certificate (2022), Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator (2021), and Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner (2021).
