Hui Chen

Hui Chen has extensive experience in data science and operations research, currently serving as Manager of Data Science at Veritiv Corporation since July 2016. Prior to this role, Hui Chen held various positions at Delta Air Lines from June 2008 to July 2016, including Manager of RM System & Development, Program Manager, Senior Specialist, and Senior Analyst. Hui Chen's early career included a role as a Research Assistant at The University of Iowa, focused on transportation network design for time-constrained delivery, and a brief engagement in system development at Northwest Airlines in 2008. Hui Chen earned a Ph.D. in Operations Research from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and the University of Iowa, while also completing education at Renmin University of China.
