Darren Cheng

Darren Cheng is a seasoned tax professional with over 10 years of experience in public accounting. Currently serving as Director of Tax at Veritone since May 2022, Darren previously held the position of Senior Tax Manager at PwC from August 2016 to December 2022, where responsibilities included federal income tax compliance, provision, and consulting services, as well as managing specialty projects such as IRS controversy and US international inclusion. Darren's career at PwC also encompassed roles from Tax Associate to Tax Manager from July 2009 to July 2015. Prior to their tax career, Darren gained experience as a Health Scholar at Hoag Hospital in 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Taxation and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, both obtained from the University of Southern California.
