David Hurrle

VP Of R&d, Fractional at VERITY

David Hurrle has a rich and diverse work experience. David most recently served as the VP of R&D at VERITY from February 2020 onwards. Prior to this, they worked at Ruffy Controls Inc. starting in July 2014. During their time there, they played the role of Principal Engineer and was responsible for designing and bringing to market precision man machine interface controllers. David launched multiple independent product lines in just over 3 years.

David played a key role in designing joysticks and related control devices using Solidworks CAD software. David successfully conceptualized, designed, tested, and launched the HS Series microswitch joystick.

Prior to that, David served as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Redpoint Engineering from January 2008 to November 2012. During this time, they were responsible for designing electro-mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks software. David also designed a silicon-rubber product for sleep apnea studies and co-designed injection molded parts for an ovulation tester.

Before that, David worked at Sumco, Inc. from August 2005 to December 2007 as a Process Engineer. David managed continuous process improvement and was given direct engineering responsibility for half of the company's precious metal production.

David's career began at Joseph Huser Services, Inc. in January 1998, where they started as a general laborer and progressed to become a Project Manager. David participated in every phase of the building process of custom homes.

In 2003, David worked as an Engineering Intern at MicroMetl Corp. During their internship, they modeled and redesigned HVAC components using SolidWorks software.
