Dan Schmidt

Dan Schmidt is an experienced telecommunications engineering and construction professional who has been building fiber optic networks in the Midwestern and Western states since 1993. Currently serving as Associate Director at Verizon, they lead a team of engineers focused on fiber design, engineering, construction, and maintenance in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Dan began their telecom career at Kiewit Network Technologies as an OSP Field Engineer and advanced through various roles, including Senior Implementation Engineer and Senior Contracts Manager at Verizon. They hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Minnesota State University at Mankato.
