Eric Maiz

Cloud Infrastructure Planning

Eric Maiz has extensive experience in network infrastructure planning and cloud technology at Verizon, serving in roles such as PMTS-Network Infrastructure Planning and Cloud Infrastructure Engineering from March 2014 to October 2015. In these positions, Eric was pivotal in the planning and engineering of VoLTE and RCS application servers, as well as leading a team that developed the Verizon Cloud Platform Edge for resource deployment across the wireless network. Eric's contributions include defining standards for the onboarding of 4G applications and strategizing for future 5G and vRAN applications. Earlier, Erik worked as an MTS-Network, focusing on the national planning of SMSC consolidations. Additionally, Eric began a career as a Software Engineer at Verizon Wireless, specializing in application service optimization. Eric holds a degree in Computer Software Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, completed between 2010 and 2013.
