Jeff Melander

Jeff Melander has a diverse background in engineering and technology, with experience in the United States Air Force as a Munitions specialist from October 1998 to October 2002. Following military service, Jeff worked as a Lead Service Technician at Perfect Wireless, Inc. from May 2003 to June 2011, before joining Verizon Wireless as an Engineering IV Specialist in Interconnect from June 2012 to July 2019, focusing on transport for the INKY region. In July 2019, Jeff transitioned to Verizon Business as an Engineering IV Consultant in Project Management and Implementation, a position held until August 2022, after which Jeff became a Senior Engineering Consultant in Network Design at Verizon. Additionally, Jeff completed an internship at ART vs ART in 2006, and served as a Graduate Assistant and Institute Fellow at Ball State University from August 2011 to May 2012, conducting research on rural broadband deployment using 3.65GHz WiMAX technology.
