Patrick Flaherty is a tech and telecom thought leader, lawyer, and strategic advisor with extensive experience in legal and compliance roles. As the Head of Global IP Law & Policy Group at Verizon since 2001, Patrick leads the legal compliance team for the consumer business. Additionally, Patrick has held various advisory board positions, including with Verizon PRISM and Suited For Change, and has been involved in diversity and inclusion initiatives at Verizon. Patrick earned multiple law degrees from University of Galway and an LL.M in Intellectual Property Law from George Washington University Law School.
