Sandra Hefty is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in strategy, governance, and vendor management across prominent telecommunications companies. Currently serving as AVP of Strategy, Governance, and Vendor Management at Verizon since June 2021, Sandra previously held the position of Executive Director of Strategy & Operations for Global Technology Solutions. Prior roles include Senior Director of IT Sourcing, VMO & Cost Optimization at Lumen Technologies from January 2019 to June 2021, and a variety of leadership roles at CenturyLink from 1999 to 2018, including VP of Product, Development & Technology and Director of IT Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 1987 and 1991.
