Will Johnson

SVP & Deputy GC -- Federal Regulatory & International Public Policy

Will Johnson is the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Federal Regulatory and International Public Policy at Verizon, where they lead teams focused on issues such as Internet governance and spectrum policy. Since joining Verizon in 2004, Will has concentrated on broadband, video, and emerging network transformation issues. Prior to their tenure at Verizon, Will practiced appellate and commercial litigation at Hogan & Hartson and held clerkships with Chief Judge R. Lanier Anderson and Judge Ed Carnes on the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Will is an active member of various boards, including the Media Institute and the National Exchange Carrier Association, and serves on the Emory College Alumni Board. Will earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University.
