Brandon Davito

Brandon Davito is the current VP of Product and Operations at Verkada. Brandon was previously the Chief Commercial Officer at runtime.io from June 2017 to November 2018. Prior to that, they were the Vice President and GM of Smart Cities and Streetlights at Silver Spring Networks from October 2009 to April 2017. In this role, they were responsible for the smart cities business unit within Silver Spring Networks and grew sales by 15x to over $50M in revenue. Brandon also developed an indirect business model with leading OEM and system integration partners, such as Acuity Brands, Ameresco, Panasonic, Samsung, DL Rongwen in China, Gerard Lighting in Australia, and Urban Control in the UK. Brandon has also created the largest ecosystem of integration partners to win leading global cities, including Paris, Copenhagen, London, Stockholm, Miami, Glasgow, Bristol, Halifax, Providence RI, among others.

Brandon is a thought leader in the smart city space and frequently speaks at global and national smart cities and smart lighting conferences (including Lightfair - the largest NA lighting conference - and Smart City World Congress - the largest WW smart city exhibition). Brandon has also been featured in press (The Atlantic, NYT, Greentech Media), investor, and analyst (Gartner, Navigant, Northeast Group) interviews.

Brandon Davito has a MBA and Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management as well as a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University.

They are on a team with Martin Hunt - CTO, John Russell - VP of Design, and James Ren - Co-Founder & Software Architect. and Dervilla Lannon - Head of HR & Director of Business and Legal Operations reports to Brandon Davito. Brandon Davito reports to Filip Kaliszan, Co-Founder & CEO.
